The Marina Market:
The present state of the marina real estate market is creating unparalleled opportunities. Marina slips are a very limited commodity. Ever tightening regulatory and environmental restrictions will inhibit supply growth for the foreseeable future. This traditional imbalance in the supply/demand equation -inherent in the marine industry for decades- was further aggravated over the fast five years as higher density properties (e.g., high-rise residential) replaced marinas at an unprecedented rate.
As a result of our disciplined investment strategy, AMP is uniquely positioned to capitalize upon an impending wave of workouts, foreclosures and potential bankruptcies.
